Finished Dogs
High Prairie Farms Flushing Spaniels, LLC regularly has started, finished and the occasional field trial Field English Springer and Field English Cocker Spaniels for sale. Prices depend on: breed, age, level of training and ability. I place significant emphases on all the details: proper wind patterns, natural range and control in even the youngest dogs. With any of the selections below, you will find a versatile spaniel that will insure the level of hunting enjoyment you desire. High Prairie Farms offers personal or phone assistance at any time to help make the transition to your home worry free. We want you to reach your fullest enjoyment from your purchase. Perfection is our goal!
FINISHED DOGS
Finished dogs are the next level higher. A finished dog has all the attributes of the started dog with every aspect of training brought to a higher standard. In addition, these dogs have been through the steadying process. A steady dog has been trained to stop or sit on the flush, gun shot and whistle. He/she will retrieve only on your command. A finished dog requires twice the training time of a started dog. This level of training gives you much more control in the hunting environment and has many safety advantages. All of our finished dogs have been introduced to swimming and have started work on training for blind retrieves. They will be well experienced on pheasants. The finished dog price is higher due to the higher level of training. Our finished dogs are superb hunting dogs of the finest quality!
If you were frustrated last season by not having a dog at your side, look no further. Feel free to contact us in regards to any of the following dogs. Please check our Started Dog page to see upcoming dogs that will progress to the finished dog stage as their training progresses. Consider the option of importing a finished hunting companion directly from England. Refer to our Import Services page for further details. Also, check our Trial Dog page to see other dogs that may be available. A deposit can “hold” your dream dog for you.
